Best Musical Score
This is a contest for songs that would be considered “instrumental”. All entries should first be uploaded to UPyours and then submitted to us. After the deadline they will be cross-referenced to make sure that is the case. Here are the rules:
- All applicants must have UPyours account
- All instrumentals should be uploaded on UPyours
- All scores must be original works
- Deadline for all entries is by Dec. 31, 2021
Prizes
1st Prize
$250 cash, QR code to your music in our print edition, featured on our website, and Newsweed hoodie.
2nd Prize
$100 cash, QR code to your music in our print edition, featured on our website, and Newsweed hoodie.
3rd Prize
$50 cash, QR code to your music in our print edition, featured on our website, and Newsweed hoodie.
All Entries Will Receive a Newsweed T-Shirt

Enter the Musical Score Contest
This is the fine print. By submitting your piece to us Newsweed reserves the right to use it any way we see fit. That means we may post your content on our website or subsidiaries, and/or may be used in other contests. Also just because we are running this contest doesn’t necessarily mean that there will be a winner, or 3 winners, etc. For example if we by chance receive a lack of quality submissions we reserve the right to hold the competition null and void.
