Pleasant hike over rolling hills and through beautiful marshlands with the assistance of numerous boardwalks.Update 12/16/13 – The boardwalk through the cedar swamp has been repaired and the trail no longer detours around it – so the GPS data is now off. We’ve adjusted the hike description but the mileage may be off after the cedar swamp.Update 1/8/13 – Revised hike description and GPS coordinates added. Cheesequake sustained a lot of damage from Hurricane Sandy and there are some detours posted for closed areas. In addition, the end of the GREEN trail has a new route. 3.2 Miles. Easy to moderate, some minor elevation change. Longer: 4.0 miles – Add YELLOW to the GREENBit Longer: 4.3 miles – YELLOW, BLUE & GREEN loop Map: Ranger station and interpretive center should have park maps.
